Sample 1: 5th (1922) Pattern. 1940 dated. Tag feels like plastic impregnated cloth. Darker wool color than Battledress:
Sample 1: Pattern 37 Wool is very high quality. Not as “hairy” on outside as other countries’. Wool resembles those found on civilian suits. Has armpit vents.
Sample 1: Very faded size stamp says “Size 22…”
Sample 1: Inside is very green. Has possible German capture stamp from 1940 on inside of flap.
Sample 1: Collar insignia pins missing. Has features of both later 1935 model and earlier 1920 model (seams in back). Very similar cut to later Soviet M69 HeBe (see http://kommandopost.com/index.php/2015/08/26/soviet-m69-hebe/). No markings inside.
Sample 1: Pouches: unknown date Belt made after 1945. “Suspenders” are actually 2 equipment straps. Sample 2: Mixed blanco colors. Mostly WW2 dated.
