Mozambique was a former Portuguese colony that supported the Liberation Movements during the South African Border War after gaining independence in 1975 [1]. They had a substantial domestic clothing industry that produced copies of Portuguese uniforms, some of which made their way to insurgent forces, like the example on this page. Some Mozambican camouflage items were also made in India [2].
