Eagle Industries’ Beaver Tail Assault Pack (BTAP) was made specifically for military users with the YOTE being the civilian market counterpart [1]. The “beaver tail” comes from the mesh external compartment that is sized to fit a helmet.

BTAP’s were produced in AOR1, AOR2, Khaki, Multicam, and Ranger Green.[1][2]

The T3 HANS is a derivative of this design.
