AOR1 Gen 3 Jacket (2013):

The later version retains the same overall cut and materials, but is slightly different than the 2010 dated examples.

Collar:

The most notable difference is the lack of a hood in the collar. In fact, the collar cannot be opened at all.

Arm Pockets:

Arm pockets use zipper openings in the same position, but they are inside the sleeve, not bellowing out like earlier PCU L5 softshells.

Chest Pockets:

Zippers:

All zipper pulls have Coyote Brown Hypalon tabs on them with side material in matching camouflage print.

Cuffs:

Inside:

The bottom hem can be tightened using the elastic cord on the bottom. The cord goes into the chest pocket compartment.

The end that is inside the pocket is retained using these slide-on keepers.

Usage Photos:

The AOR1 PCU’s appear to have been put into use as soon as they were made since some SEALs involved in the Extortion 17 shootdown on August 6, 2011 were photographed wearing them before the incident.
