This bungie sling was made by Z-M Systems, which also made the LR-300, a unique AR-15 derivative with a semi-direct impingement gas system and a folding stock design between 2000 – 2007, which was then sold to Para-Ordnance which manufactured the weapon from 2009 – 2011 [1]. Z-M systems was registered under CAGE code 3U8F4 [2] and now (July 2025) goes by the name “Airtight Ink” [3].

The sling is a single point design with an elastic bungee cord hidden inside a 1000D cordura fabric cover.

This sling was used by NSW personnel as a retention lanyard to hold small items and weapons such as breaching shotguns [4].
