The Poseidon gloves are part of Outdoors Research’s Modular Glove System (MGS) that was first developed in 2001. These were ultimately not adopted due to budgetary concerns, but individual Special Forces units procured them with unit funds. The gloves are designed to be insulating and water resistant while also preserving dexterity needed for operating weapons. [1]
These gloves were found together with a 2013 dated AOR1 Patagonia PCU Level 5 jacket.
