These Modular Assault Packs (MAP) are meant to be mounted to the back of the plate carrier. The example shown on this page was found together with a Crye G3 Combat uniform set and a T3 HANS beaver tail pack.
Color is likely intended to be Coyote Brown, but it is in a slightly more yellow color than later dated Coyote Brown items.
