These C-1 survival jackets were originally made for the US Army Air Forces (USAAF), precursor of the US Air Force, during WW2 [1]. Many were used into the Vietnam War (mid-1960’s)[2].

Pockets have intended contents printed on pocket flaps.

Modified ERDL Pocket:

The pocket was taken from a uniform, likely a jungle fatigue and crudely hand-stitched over where a pocket would have been in an unmodified C-1.

Holster:

Holster is canvas with leather strap and body side backing.
